PROMOS AND PRIZES-FIVE STAR PUBLICATIONS MAKES
PLANS TO SHINE BRIGHTLY AT BEA
(CHANDLER, AZ)-A small Arizona publishing house has big plans for Book Expo America this month, setting the stage to make a lasting mark in New York City. With the world's largest publishing industry tradeshow just weeks away, Five Star Publications is gearing up for an exiting weekend in the Big Apple, filled with unique promotions and prizes. From bookmarks and pens to rattlesnake eggs, meditation crystals and saguaro cactus seeds, Five Star's authors are hoping to steal the show.
"We're a little star that shines brightly in the publishing world," said Linda F. Radke, President of Five Star Publications. "We have so many exciting giveaways and surprises on tap for the show, and our authors have graciously put together some fabulous prizes that visitors to our booth can enter to win. Representing 18 authors at a single convention might seem like a challenge for the average publisher, but there's nothing average about Five Star!"
Five Star's booth-Booth 3067-will literally be whirling with opportunities throughout the BEA convention, with a prize spinner showcasing themed promotional products and valuable services-Mardi gras masks, rubber Spalding balls, free Five Star consultations, autographed books and publishing discounts. Along with the prize wheel promos, Five Star's authors have also supplied book-themed gift baskets and drawing prizes, ranging from a $100 US Savings Bond, parent/child baseball mitts and a latte maker to a $1000 publishing voucher and a vintage Daisy Rock Girl Guitar.
Another featured drawing prize is a $995 publishing grant that will be awarded to a lucky educator at the show. Five Star is also offering discounts and free subscriptions to its online professional networking service, www.AuthorsandExperts.com.
"We're spreading the word that Booth 3067 is where visitors to BEA will want to be!" said Radke. "We'll have seven authors signing books onsite, and we're representing a total of 18 titles, with books in multiple genres. This is our biggest presence at BEA yet, and with such excellent books and talented authors, we plan to shine!"
