Five Star Publications Inc. announces its new Western-themed publishing division, FIVE STAR LEGENDS. This new imprint will focus on books about the American West.

"Our country's West possesses such a colorful history and dynamic present that it deserves to be treated individually with focused attention in order to truly tap into its unique resources," says Linda F. Radke, president of Five Star Publications. "In turn, Western authors deserve their own publishing division and in FIVE STAR LEGENDS, they can find just that."

There is no where else that such channeled attention is given to Western authors and what they have to offer, explains Radke. FIVE STAR LEGENDS promises to draw on Five Star Publication's twenty years of publishing experience as well as generate a new approach to launching specifically western titles.

Through Five Star Publications and Five Star Legends, authors will be offered a unique choice when publishing their books. They can opt for the traditional publishing method or they can participate in Five Star's Partnership Publishing Program. With the traditional publishing path, authors receive a traditional contract with a small advance against an average 10% royalty. Through the Partnership Publishing Program, however, authors can receive as much as 18-30% royalties of your book with only a minimal upfront expenditure to cover cost of launching and marketing their titles.

Five Star Publications has been producing, promoting, and marketing books since 1985. More recently, they added their own traditional publishing department and can now cover a wider range of an author's needs.
