Kids:
Children in grades 1-9 have the opportunity to get their fiction and nonfiction stories, poems, editorials, articles, photography or cartoons published - free of charge - for all the world to read by entering pieces in Kids Can Publish University's monthly contest.
Each month, Kids Can Publish will select the best pieces in a variety of categories and age divisions to publish online, giving young authors and illustrators their own byline. Only the very best entries will be published, making it an honor to be chosen. Yes, kids, this means you can boast to your friends, family and teachers about your literary accomplishment, and one day you might even choose to use your winning status on a job resume! And best of all, it's FREE!
Click on "submission form" now to enter! You must have a parent's permission to be considered.
And don't forget to check back often to see if you are a "winner"!
Parents:
In addition to writing contests (click on contests), you can bring Kids Can Publish workshops to your child's school (click on schools) and in a soon-to-be-published book entitled Kids Can Publish, you can share stories of encouragement with your budding author and help them develop writing skills.
We will also offer relatively inexpensive publishing plans. Click here to learn more.
