CHANDLER, AZ (May 4, 2009) - The Arizona Book Publishing Association's most prestigious award for excellence in publishing, the Glyph, went to Dave Pratt, Behind the Mic: 30 Years in Radio, written by longtime Valley personality and Arizona Broadcasting Hall of Fame member Dave Pratt, for the "Autobiographies/Biographies/Memoirs" category. Any book produced by an Arizona publisher, written by an Arizona author, written about Arizona or set in Arizona was eligible to enter, making Behind the Mic a winner in a contest known for its tough competition.
