The concept was simple: hold a contest to find interesting true-life love stories. The result is LETTERS OF LOVE. This is a compilation of 36 love stories, many of which are written in the form of an actual love letter.

This book is an excellent read for those of you out there that just don't have time to read. All of the stories are short, most of them only one or two pages. This is a great book for reading while waiting for an appointment, or even during the commercials of your favorite television show! It's also perfect for picking up and reading a story just before breakfast to start the day with a little joy and inspiration.

There is at least one story in this collection that will touch a reader's heart. There are stories of love during a war, love at first sight, young adults in love, love conquerors all, memories of love, and even some short fictional love stories. Basically, something for everyone!

Among this reviewer's favorites are a letter found by a woman whose father had written to her as a little girl while he was a soldier. There's also a letter from a woman whose beau had just visited her in Hawaii, telling him how she is missing him already. There is a fun story of a woman who finds a magic wooden box - you'd never believe what's inside! Then there is the touching story written by a man who has lost his young daughter. You will also find a letter from a woman to her long-distance lover of the past twenty years.

The entries in LETTERS OF LOVE have been created by men and women from a variety of backgrounds to express their love for spouses, lovers, family and friends. It is a very inspiring monument to loving others. Most likely this book will inspire anyone who reads it to tell someone else "I love you."
