About the Author

Ricki Sue Pagano was born in 1959 in Detroit, Michigan. She graduated from the University of Arizona in 1981 with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. In 1984, she received her Master's Degree in Social Work from Arizona State University.

Ms. Pagano has worked in the field of Medical Social Work for the past 15 years, gaining vast experience in the area of geriatric care. Working in this field, she saw firsthand how important it is for people to have a sense of control over their lives. The idea of For the Record came to her as a tool for helping people gain that sense of control.

Ms. Pagano is married and resides with her husband and two children in Phoenix, Arizona.
