At Five Star, we offer both book reviews for the published author and manuscript evaluations for the writer wanting a final manuscript that is the best it can be.
Book Reviews
At Five Star Book Reviews, our critiques are impartial and provided royalty-free to media outlets.
Non-Five Star authors may submit their books to Five Star Publications for reviews for a nominal fee. Five Star then hires independent professional book reviewers to scrutinize the manuscripts and write reviews, awarding the books one to five stars, with five stars being a superior rating. All reviews, regardless of their ratings, are then returned to the authors to help them polish their work. Five Star Publications will only distribute to media outlets the book reviews that have earned four or five stars.

Manuscript Evaluations
When we receive your manuscript, we will assign it to an editor who has the most knowledge and experience in the area about which you are writing. This person will carefully read your manuscript; in essence, taking it out on a test drive. We will then report back to you on any problems we encounter, with particular attention being paid to any "roadblocks" that we feel will hinder the reader's understanding of, and appreciation for, your material.
Fee to have a manuscript reviewed is based on the number of pages of a double-spaced Word document. The manuscript will be reviewed within 6 weeks of receipt. Each manuscript evaluation includes a 30 minute coaching session with Linda Radke.
