"Perfectly Amanda" 5 Star Amazon review by William J. Hardy

5.0 out of 5 stars Amanda Blake - The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly, January 14, 2011

By William J. Hardy (Houston, TX)

(This review is from: Perfectly Amanda (Paperback)

This is a wonderful book for those who either are Amanda Blake fans or fans of the western TV shows of the past, in general. It's said that Amanda's short life was a great ride and this book reflects that. It's a great read. Her roles, in life, were extensive - far beyond that of Miss Kitty. If she came up short in any arena is was marriage - she didn't learn what Kitty knew - if you can't marry the man you want (Kitty/Matt - Amanda/Bill), take of him what you can get and don't settle for second best. When you let yourself into Amanda's world, know there will be good times, bad times, and ugly times. You will laugh, you will cry, and you will pray that Doc, Kitty, and Chester are, once again, in the Long Branch Saloon waiting for Matt.
