We are all here today because of these children... During the evening, the kids were playing with Lilly and asked me how old she is. I answered she will be 13 years old in June. They immediately replied "it is her Bat Mitzvah Year". We all know animals do not celebrate their Bar or Bat Mitzvahs...

We thought this was the end of that discussion though. It wasn't until several weeks later, that Rachael told me the kids are really planning this event. What are you doing about it?

It was then we decided to plan this wonderful day to celebark with Lilly and all her family and friends. We need to do this for the children. For their young Jewish minds and to thank them for reminding us to be responsible and to get involved in the moments of our lives that are worthy of celebration.
